Welcoming Karine Allouche and Nikolaz Foucaud to the Coursera Enterprise Leadership Team

I’m excited to announce today the expansion of our Enterprise leadership team, a key step in accelerating our efforts to better serve institutions worldwide.

Karine Allouche is joining Coursera as Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise.Karine, based in France, brings over 20 years of international experience in the technology sector, managing diverse and distributed teams. She recently served as Vice President of Cloud and Data Services at NetApp and, before that, as the CEO of GlobalEnglish. Earlier in her career, Karine led Pearson English Business Solutions and had stints at Oracle and Microsoft. Her commitment to our mission and experience in leading public companies through rapid growth will be invaluable in shaping our next chapter and delivering more value to our institutional customers. 

Nikolaz Foucaud is joining as our new Managing Director, for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Enterprise.  Nikolaz, based in London, will lead EMEA through its next phase of growth. He recently served as EMEA Cloud and Partner Lead at NetApp, following a nearly 20-year stint at Microsoft where he scaled the company’s EMEA operations. Nikolaz will play a key role in shaping our investment and efforts in EMEA, a crucial region for Coursera with over 35 million learners and 2,000 institutions. 

At Coursera, our customers are spread across the world, and we strive to build a diverse leadership team that is sensitive to the varied needs of our customers in different regions. Karine and Nikolaz, with their unique backgrounds and local expertise, will play an important role in expanding our mission and helping our customers better prepare for a fast-changing world.
